Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta, D.I., How Much is Onion?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at 2 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 saw price increases and 2 saw price decreases.

Commodities that saw price increases include shallots, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, broiler chicken, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of some commodities, such as red onions and broiler chicken eggs, decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, rising by Rp1,420 (4.1%) to Rp36,040 per kg. Red onions saw the sharpest price decrease, falling by Rp770 (2.53%) to Rp29,710 per kg.
