Complete List of Food Prices in Central Java Today, What's the Price of Chili Peppers? (Tuesday, March 5, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (5/3/2024) at 12:08 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, milkfish, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, red cayenne peppers, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase, up by Rp450 (2.77%) to Rp16,680 per liter. Red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease, down by Rp2,030 (3.31%) to Rp59,290 per kg.
