Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Onion Prices Rise, Beef Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 13:21 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include large red chilies, packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, farmer-level corn, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp2,270 (7.12%), reaching Rp34,154 per kg. Packaged wheat flour experienced the largest price decrease of Rp246 (2.08%), reaching Rp11,557 per kg.
