Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Saturday (May 11th): Oil and Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (May 11, 2024) at 14.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, medium-grain rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, red chilies, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and dry imported soybeans decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp290 (3.31%), reaching Rp9,060 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,010 (4.1%), reaching Rp23,610 per kg.
