Food Prices Today (03/2) in East Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Eggs Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (3/2/2026) at 15.59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are large red chili, red bird's eye chili, and red onion.

Meanwhile, only broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp1,848 (2.85%) to Rp66,727 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler chicken egg prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp90 (0.33%) to Rp27,152 per kg.
