Daily Garlic Prices in Modern Markets of West Java Province Have Decreased by 6.23% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of garlic in modern markets in West Java Province has decreased by Rp 3,250 per kg compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 57,200 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of garlic in modern markets has decreased from Rp 61,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of garlic in modern markets in West Java over the past three months has increased by 4.76% from the previous record of Rp 54,600 per kg.

The highest record for the daily price increase of garlic in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with a 53.85% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a -37.14% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in West Java today show nine commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Fresh Chicken Meat, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Shallots, Medium-Sized Shallots, and Garlic.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in West Java Province:

1. Rice per kg: Rp 14,500 per kg (up 1.05%)
2. Green Chili per kg: Rp 100,900 per kg (up 51.84%)
3. Red Chili per kg: Rp 113,750 per kg (up 52.07%)
4. Chili per kg: Rp 107,350 per kg (up 41.9%)
5. Low-Grade Rice I per kg: Rp 13,250 per kg (up 0.38%)
6. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp 95,500 per kg (up 45.58%)
7. Branded Cooking Oil Package 2 per kg: Rp 21,450 per kg (up 1.66%)
8. Branded Cooking Oil Package 1 per kg: Rp 22,750 per kg (up 4.12%)
9. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp 22,100 per kg (up 8.87%)
10. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp 42,550 per kg (down 1.5%)
11. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp 89,400 per kg (up 23.65%)
12. Super Grade II Rice per kg: Rp 14,950 per kg (unchanged)
13. Fresh Chicken Meat per kg: Rp 42,550 per kg (down 0.47%)
14. Beef per kg: Rp 176,650 per kg (down 5.41%)
15. Grade 1 Beef per kg: Rp 185,000 per kg (down 0.11%)
