The Price of Curly Red Chili Peppers in Bangka Belitung Islands is the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, September 30, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 96,760 per kg for curly red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, September 30, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 98,110 per kg.

The daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 152,950 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of curly red chilies in this province is lower; previously recorded at Rp 160,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Kalimantan, the price of curly red chilies was sold at Rp 135,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of curly red chilies in West Kalimantan was Rp 132,900 per kg, East Kalimantan Rp 119,700 per kg, and DKI Jakarta Rp 119,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 17 provinces with curly red chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for curly red chilies are North Sumatra, West Sulawesi, and North Sulawesi.
