Yogyakarta Special Region's Current Food Prices: Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/4/2024) at 13.26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp400 (3.27%) to Rp12,650 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,400 (6.99%) to Rp31,930 per kg.
