The price of medium-grade I rice in Central Java was sold at Rp 14,950 per kg on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Compared to other regions, the price change in this region was the highest in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of staple food commodity data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of medium-grade I rice in Central Java has increased by 4.55% in a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days earlier, the price of medium-grade I rice in this region has increased by 5.65%. This means there has been a significant increase in a month. In fact, compared to the price over the past year, the selling price of medium-grade I rice in Central Java's modern markets is currently the highest on record.

For the January-March 2022 period, the price of medium-grade I rice in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 5.65% compared to the previous month.

The price of medium-grade I rice reached its lowest point at Rp 13,300 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price reached this year was around Rp 14,950 per kg.

Nationally, the price of medium-grade I rice began to rise towards the end of 2021. The average price of medium-grade I rice in modern markets was Rp 13,020 per kg, up 0.31% compared to the end of last week.
