Today's Food Prices in Lampung Region: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (22/5/2024) at 14.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), mackerel, shallots, garlic bulbs, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp710 (1.88%) to Rp38,480 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the least by Rp840 (1.68%) to Rp49,050 per kg.
