Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Oil, Chicken Meat, and Eggs Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/4/2024) at 15:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp1,560 (5.26%) to Rp31,190 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most by Rp4,400 (13.21%) to Rp28,920 per kg.
