Aceh's Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (22/4/2024) at 18.09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, red chilies, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up Rp16,830 (50.74%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease, down Rp810 (2.18%) to Rp36,270 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas as of April 22, 2024, at 18.09 WIB.

7. Milkfish: Rp36,270 per kg (down 2.18%)

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,110 per kg (up 1.07%)
