Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, March 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (9/3/2024) at 10:22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, medium rice, curly red chilies, red chili peppers, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping Rp1,540 (4.71%) to Rp34,220 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp1,160 (1.69%) to Rp67,370 per kg.
