Indonesian Food Prices on Monday (November 4th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (4/11/2024) at 14:58 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, shallots, milkfish, granulated sugar, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybeans (import), broiler chicken, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp780 (2.43%) to Rp32,880 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp430 (1.07%) to Rp39,590 per kg.
