Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Today: What is the Price of Raw Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (5/4/2025) at 14.04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour, dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, shallots, curly red chilies, large red chilies, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish surged the highest by Rp220 (0.78%) to Rp28,265 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp4,216 (7.97%) to Rp48,698 per kg.
