Central Java Food Prices Wednesday (27/11): Onions Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (27/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, mackerel, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp390 (1.27%) to Rp31,200 per kg. Farmer-level corn saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp120 (2.29%) to Rp5,120 per kg.
