Red Chili Pepper Price in South Kalimantan Reaches Rp 130,650 per Kg (Thursday, September 29, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 94,890 per kg, as of Thursday, September 29, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 97,270 per kg.

The daily price of red chilies in South Kalimantan's modern markets was the highest in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 130,650 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of red chilies in this province is lower; previously it was recorded at Rp 135,650 per kg.

Meanwhile, in the modern markets of Bangka Belitung Islands Province, red chilies were sold at Rp 128,950 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of red chilies in DKI Jakarta was Rp 126,550 per kg, East Kalimantan Rp 125,450 per kg, and West Kalimantan Rp 125,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 16 provinces with red chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for red chilies were North Sulawesi, North Sumatra, and West Sulawesi.
