Food Prices Thursday (23/10) DKI Jakarta Region: Oil, Chili, and Salt Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (23/10/2025) at 12.14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include consumption sugar, large red chilies, broiler eggs, pure beef, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, packaged cooking oil, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulb commodity increased the highest by Rp1,876 (4.92%) to Rp40,001 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices dropped the deepest by Rp1,681 (3.84%) to Rp42,143 per kg.
