Indonesian Food Prices on Tuesday (September 3rd): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (September 3, 2024) at 13:20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, garlic cloves, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), red chili, mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp220 (0.67%) to Rp33,130 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili decreased the most sharply, by Rp510 (1.29%) to Rp38,920 per kg.
