Today's Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Beef and Rice Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (July 29, 2025) at 12.17 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are whole garlic, large red chili, consumption salt, shallots, and corn at farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, broiler eggs, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and premium rice have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity saw the highest jump of Rp765 (6.69%) to Rp12,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of packaged wheat flour dropped the sharpest by Rp422 (3.65%) to Rp11,143 per kg.

6. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp34,267 per kg (up 3.13%)
7. Large Red Chili: Rp34,231 per kg (up 1.97%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp31,182 per kg (up 0.43%)
9. Whole Garlic: Rp30,647 per kg (up 0.18%)
10. Curly Red Chili: Rp28,200 per kg (up 1.04%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp27,215 per kg (down 0.48%)
