List of Indonesia's Richest Police Officers, Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Tops the List!

Recently, the Indonesian Police have come under public scrutiny due to several cases involving the institution, such as the death of Brigadier J and the Kanjuruhan incident. Consequently, police officers, including their wealth, have also been under public scrutiny.

Inspector General (Irjen) Teddy Minahasa Putra is reportedly the wealthiest police officer in Indonesia currently. So, how much is his wealth?

Here is a list of the wealthiest police officers according to the 2021 e-LHKPN report:

1. Irjen Teddy Minahasa Putra

The new East Java Police Chief (Kapolda Jatim) had total assets of Rp29.97 billion in 2021.

His assets include land and buildings worth Rp25.8 billion, transportation and machinery worth Rp2 billion, movable assets worth Rp500 million, securities worth Rp62.5 million, and cash worth Rp1.5 billion. Teddy reported his assets on December 31, 2021.

Previously, Teddy Minahasa served as the West Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumbar). He has now been transferred to replace the East Java Police Chief, Irjen Nico Afinta, who has been moved to the position of Social and Cultural Expert Staff.

2. Irjen Mohammad Iqbal

The Riau Police Chief ranks second among the wealthiest police officers in Indonesia. According to e-LHKPN data, Iqbal has assets totaling Rp27.64 billion, comprising movable and immovable property. His immovable property consists of four plots of land and buildings.

3. Irjen Marthinus Hukom

The third wealthiest police officer in Indonesia is Irjen Marthinus Hukom. The Commander of Densus 88 has total assets of approximately Rp18.03 billion. This includes land and buildings worth Rp12.6 billion, movable assets worth Rp26 million, securities worth Rp3 billion, and cash and cash equivalents worth Rp2.4 billion.
