Fresh Chicken Egg Prices at Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:45 PM WIB, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province has decreased by Rp 750 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 30,150.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets has decreased from Rp 30,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province over the past three months has increased by 4.15% from the previous price of Rp 28,950.

The record high for the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2017 with an increase of 18.5%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2017 with a decrease of -15.61%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau Islands Province show 11 commodities decreased and 12 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality Rice I, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Quality 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality Rice II, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
