Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Region: Red Chili and Onion Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (October 12, 2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat, garlic cloves, consumption sugar, packaged wheat flour, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, premium rice, medium rice, Minyakita, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves surged the most by Rp382 (0.94%) to Rp40,882 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices dropped the sharpest by Rp937 (2.03%) to Rp45,313 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp45,667 per kg (down 0.72%)
7. Red Onion: Rp45,313 per kg (down 2.03%)
8. Mackerel: Rp42,667 per kg (stable)
9. Garlic Cloves: Rp40,882 per kg (up 0.94%)
