Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Egg and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at 13:53 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 3 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, red chilies, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,210 (4.41%) to Rp28,650 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) experienced the sharpest price drop, decreasing by Rp70 (0.62%) to Rp11,200 per kg.
