Food Prices Thursday (14/8) in Banten: Egg and Salt Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (August 14, 2025) at 12:34 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include medium rice, packaged cooking oil, consumption salt, corn at farmer level, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as whole garlic, pure beef, red cayenne pepper, shallots, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase of Rp250 (3.23%) to Rp8,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped most sharply by Rp2,232 (5.61%) to Rp37,531 per kg.
