Banten Region's Current Food Prices: Onion Prices Rise, Oil Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (December 3, 2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased in price and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, shallots, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, Indian mackerel, milkfish, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp2,560 (6.77%) to Rp40,380 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price drop of Rp3,940 (11.35%) to Rp30,760 per kg.
