Current Food Prices in Central Java, What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (23/4/2024) at 15:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (loose), granulated sugar, milkfish, wheat flour (loose), and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, shallots, dry soybeans (import), skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp550 (1.64%) to Rp34,170 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most by Rp290 (4.5%) to Rp6,160 per kg.
