Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chicken Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (27/12/2024) at 14:19 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, milkfish, SPHP rice, broiler chicken, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, shallots, pure beef, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping by Rp10,850 (39.99%) to Rp37,980 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler eggs saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp3,460 (10.19%) to Rp30,480 per kg.
