Based on the 2023 *APBN Kita* report from the Ministry of Finance, Indonesia's customs and excise revenue realization reached Rp286.19 trillion in 2023.

Import duties contributed the second largest amount with a value of Rp50.84 trillion, decreasing slightly by 0.47%. Meanwhile, state revenue from export duties plummeted by 66.03% to Rp13.53 trillion.

Meanwhile, state revenue from excise duties on alcoholic beverages increased by 0.36% to Rp8.1 trillion. Furthermore, revenue from ethyl alcohol excise also grew by 0.39% to Rp130 billion, while customs administrative fines surged by 142.02% to Rp100 billion.

Revenue from other excise duties decreased by 19.49% to Rp20 billion. On the other hand, there was no revenue from plastic excise and excise on ready-to-drink beverages (MBDK) in both 2022 and 2023.
