The daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province has remained unchanged for the past month.

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province is recorded at Rp15,200. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp15,200.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in the Riau Islands Province over the past three months has increased by 2.01% from the previous price of Rp14,900.

The highest price increase for daily medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 31.84%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -24.15%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in the Riau Islands Province show ten commodities decreased and 19 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Granulated Sugar, Red Onion, Medium-Sized White Onion, Super I Quality Rice, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium-Sized Red Onion, White Onion, and Local Granulated Sugar.
