Daily Cooking Oil Prices in Traditional Markets of West Java Province Increased by 0.54% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of cooking oil in West Java's traditional markets is recorded at Rp18,700. This price is down Rp50 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of cooking oil in traditional markets in West Java over the past three months has increased by 0.81% from the previous trading price of Rp18,550.

The record high for the daily price of cooking oil in the province's traditional markets was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 14.99%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in March 2022 at -3.67%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java show 13 commodities decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Chili Peppers, Red Chili Peppers, Large Red Chili, Green Chili Peppers, Garlic, Beef, Medium-Sized Garlic, Branded Cooking Oil 2, Red Onion, and Medium-Sized Red Onion.

5. Low Quality Rice II per Kg Rp12,550 per kg (unchanged)
6. Chili Peppers per Kg Rp72,500 per kg (down 23.6%)
7. Low Quality Rice I per Kg Rp13,250 per kg (unchanged)
8. Red Chili Peppers per Kg Rp79,600 per kg (down 14.5%)
9. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp79,500 per kg (down 5.3%)
10. Medium I Quality Rice per Kg Rp14,400 per kg (up 0.7%)
