Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Region: Chicken Meat, Onion, and Cayenne Pepper Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (August 5, 2025) at 10:08 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include large red chili, premium rice, garlic bulb, pure beef, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybean seeds (imported), shallots, consumption salt, Minyakita, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The curly red chili commodity increased the most by Rp3,176 (6.5%) to Rp52,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased most sharply by Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
