Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Prices of Salt, Cooking Oil, and Rice Drop (Friday, January 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/1/2024) at 10:24 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,910 (4.63%), reaching Rp43,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp2,760 (7.75%), reaching Rp32,840 per kg.
