The daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in South Sumatra Province's modern markets over the past month remains at Rp17,500 per kg.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in South Sumatra Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp17,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in South Sumatra over the past three months has decreased by 1.69%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in South Sumatra Province is traded at Rp17,800 per kg.

The highest record for the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 40.56%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2017 with a decrease of -30.75%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra show five commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Low-Quality Rice I, Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Low-Quality Rice II, and Medium-Quality Rice I.
