The price of Grade 1 beef in West Papua increased by 10.14% in one week.

The price of grade 1 beef in West Papua reached Rp 192,750 per kg on Monday, November 28, 2022. Compared to other regions, this is the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of staple food commodity prices from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of grade 1 beef in West Papua has increased by 10.14% in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of grade 1 beef in this region has increased by 10.14%. This signifies a significant surge within a month. Furthermore, compared to the last year's prices, this is the highest price ever recorded for grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Papua.

For the period of January-November 2022, the price of grade 1 beef in modern markets has continuously increased, rising by 10.14% compared to the previous month.

The price of grade 1 beef reached its lowest point at Rp 150,500 per kg on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. The highest price this year reached approximately Rp 192,750 per kg.

Nationally, the price of grade 1 beef started to increase towards the end of 2021. The average price of grade 1 beef in modern markets is Rp 173,050 per kg, a 0.51% increase compared to the end of last week.
