Current Jambi Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (8/6/2024) at 09:49 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, premium rice, red chili peppers, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, pure beef, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,870 (10.44%) to Rp30,370 per kg. Meanwhile, chicken meat had the lowest price decrease of Rp630 (1.83%) to Rp33,860 per kg.
