Bali Food Price Update Today: Egg and Rice Prices Drop (Tuesday, April 16, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (16/4/2024) at 18.12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, medium rice, chicken eggs, shallots (bulb), and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,300 (5.74%) to Rp42,390 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,520 (5.92%) to Rp40,030 per kg.
