Jakarta DKI Region Food Prices Friday (January 31st): Rice and Onion Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 13:30 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, medium-grain rice, red chilies, broiler chicken, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,530 (6.08%) to Rp44,118 per kg. Broiler eggs saw the largest price decrease, down by Rp123 (0.44%) to Rp28,083 per kg.
