Today's Food Prices in Indonesia: Red Chilies Up, Beef Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (14/4/2025) at 13:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, milkfish, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, bulk cooking oil, Minyakita, broiler chicken, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, jumping Rp164 (2.68%) to Rp6,281 per kg. The price of pure beef saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp1,024 (0.75%) to Rp135,689 per kg.
