Daily Prices of Raw Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets Across Maluku Province Increased by 1.24% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Maluku Province is recorded at Rp58,450. This price is up Rp600 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp81,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets over the last three months in Maluku has fallen by 32.23%. According to historical records of food prices in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Maluku Province was traded at Rp86,250.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2020 with an increase of 61.03%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2022 with a decrease of -36.17%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Maluku show 13 commodities decreased and eight others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Garlic, Rice, Cooking Oil, Fresh Chicken Meat, Beef, Super I Quality Rice, Inferior Quality II Rice, Red Chili, Branded Cooking Oil Pack 1, Medium-Sized Garlic, Quality 2 Beef, Curly Red Chili, and Chicken Meat.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the last month in Maluku Province:

9. Super I Quality Rice per Kg Rp16,900/kg (down 1.17%)
