The daily price of low-quality rice at Modern Markets in East Kalimantan Province has decreased by 1.61% over the last month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in East Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp15,300 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly unchanged over the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets has decreased from Rp15,550 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in East Kalimantan over the last three months has decreased by 5.56%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in East Kalimantan province was traded at Rp16,200 per kg.

The highest recorded price increase for daily low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in this province was in November 2018, with an increase of 12.3%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in November 2018, with a decrease of -12.37%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan show ten commodities decreased and 17 increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Medium-Sized Shallots, Shallots, Fresh Layer Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Large Red Chili, Low-Quality Grade I Rice, Red Chili, Chicken Eggs, Chicken Meat, and Local Sugar.
