Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Saturday, March 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (30/3/2024) at 13:32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, shallots, milkfish, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, medium rice, chicken eggs, red chilies, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp580 (2.18%) to Rp27,180 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the least by Rp690 (1.59%) to Rp42,590 per kg.
