Daily Prices of Raw Chili Peppers at Traditional Markets, November 2023-2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in North Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp87,850. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the last month, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp101,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets over the last three months in North Kalimantan has decreased by 5.69%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in North Kalimantan province was traded at Rp93,150.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2017 with an increase of 75.89%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -31.17%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in North Kalimantan show three commodities decreased and eight others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Granulated Sugar, and Premium Quality Granulated Sugar.

4. Medium-Quality Rice II per kg: Rp16,850 per kg (unchanged)
5. Medium-Quality Rice I per kg: Rp17,050 per kg (unchanged)
6. Low-Quality Rice I per kg: Rp14,400 per kg (unchanged)
7. Super-Quality Rice I per kg: Rp19,050 per kg (unchanged)
8. Garlic per kg: Rp36,500 per kg (unchanged)
9. Granulated Sugar per kg: Rp18,950 per kg (down 0.52%)
10. Super-Quality Rice II per kg: Rp17,750 per kg (unchanged)
11. Green Chili Peppers per kg: Rp112,500 per kg (up 12.5%)
12. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per kg: Rp19,550 per kg (down 1.26%)
