The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector in Talaud Islands Regency is the mainstay sector and contributed the largest share to the 2023 GRDP, reaching Rp1.21 trillion. This figure grew by 3.18% compared to the previous year's Rp1.16 trillion.
Second is the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector, which grew by 8.41% to Rp398.43 billion, followed by the construction sector, which grew by 10.63% to Rp343.13 billion.
Finally, rounding out the top five GRDP sectors in Talaud Islands Regency is the health and social activities sector with a value of Rp166.17 billion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 2.49% over the past year from the previous achievement of Rp156.4 billion.
