Bali Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Chili Price Down (Wednesday, April 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (17/4/2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp290 (0.71%) to Rp41,260 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp3,510 (8.77%) to Rp36,520 per kg.
