Rice Prices at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, rice prices in North Kalimantan's traditional markets have not changed compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Over the past month, rice prices in traditional markets remain unchanged at Rp16,550.

In the last three months, rice prices in North Kalimantan's traditional markets have decreased by 0.6%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, rice in North Kalimantan's traditional markets is traded at Rp16,650.

The highest recorded rice price increase in the province's traditional markets was in July 2021, at 20.74%, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in July 2021, at -17.18%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in North Kalimantan show five commodities decreased and 22 increased. The commodities with price decreases are: Fresh Chicken Meat (daily, traditional market, by province), Super II Quality Rice, Daily Chicken Meat (traditional market, by province), Inferior II Quality Rice, and Premium Quality Granulated Sugar (daily, traditional market, by province).

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price changes over the past month in North Kalimantan Province:

1. Fresh Chicken Meat, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp45,400 (down 9.2%)
2. Green Chili, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp145,000 (up 28.15%)
3. Cooking Oil, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp20,850 (up 0.24%)
4. Chili, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp138,150 (up 35.57%)
5. Super II Quality Rice, per Kg: Rp16,750 (down 1.47%)
6. Chicken Meat, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp45,400 (down 8.74%)
7. Red Chili, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp131,250 (up 44.79%)
8. Beef, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp140,650 (up 7.65%)
9. Grade 1 Beef, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp147,500 (up 5.36%)
10. Inferior I Quality Rice, per Kg: Rp16,000 (unchanged)
11. Chicken Eggs, per Kg (daily, traditional market, by province): Rp31,300 (up 0.32%)
