Food Prices Today (27/1) in DKI Jakarta: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Rice Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 27, 2026) at 3:48 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include shallots, curly red chilies, red bird's eye chilies, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, beef hindquarter, medium rice, bulk palm cooking oil, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chilies saw the highest increase of Rp2,000 (3.45%) to Rp60,000 per kg. Medium rice prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp50 (0.36%) to Rp13,988 per kg.
