Lampung's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (15/5/2024) at 15.31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, red chili peppers, skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,800 (5.23%) to Rp36,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic bulbs saw the lowest decrease of Rp880 (2.18%) to Rp39,530 per kg.
