Latest Food Prices in Central Java, What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (15/6/2024) at 11.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, kembung fish, premium rice, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, tongkol fish, shallots, iodized fine salt, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of kembung fish saw the highest increase, jumping Rp770 (2.42%) to Rp32,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp2,260 (6.27%) to Rp33,770 per kg.
