Daily Prices of Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in Modern Markets of Riau Islands Province Have Decreased by 0.56% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Riau Islands Province is recorded at Rp17,850 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the last month, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp17,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in the last three months in Riau Islands has decreased by 0.56%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Riau Islands Province was traded at Rp17,950 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 15.67%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2020 with a decrease of -15%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau Islands recorded ten commodities decreasing and 19 others increasing. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Granulated Sugar, Red Onion, Medium-Sized Garlic, Super I Quality Rice, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Garlic, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price developments in the last month in Riau Islands Province:

8. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp96,400 per kg (up 88.28%)
